Maldives Overwater Escape
Seven nights in an overwater villa with a private pool, seaplane transfers both ways, and a house reef two steps from your deck.
- Return Emirates flights ex-LIS
- Seaplane transfers
- Half board + one degustation
Every journey here includes return flights from Lisbon, all accommodation, all transfers and our professional fee. Each one is costed to your dates and your party, and quoted in writing before anything is booked.
Each one has been refined over dozens of departures. Take one as-is, or use it as the first draft of something that's actually yours.
Seven nights in an overwater villa with a private pool, seaplane transfers both ways, and a house reef two steps from your deck.
Tokyo's neon, a ryokan under Mount Fuji, and Kyoto's temple districts — linked by a 14-day Japan Rail Pass and zero wasted days.
Three Balis in nine nights — the Ubud highlands, Nusa Penida's cliffs and manta bays, then a soft landing on the Seminyak sand.
Two nights in Athens for the Acropolis, then caldera-edge cave suites in Oia and the moonscape beaches of Milos by ferry.
The perfect Asia stopover, upgraded — Burj Khalifa at golden hour, a private desert camp, and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Direct from Lisbon.
Fifteen nights, four countries, one first-class rail pass, and not a single internal flight. Our most requested European itinerary.
Hanoi's old quarter, an overnight junk in Ha Long Bay, the Golden Bridge, and tailoring in Hoi An — end to end, no backtracking.
Three nights of Bangkok temples and street food, then seven on the Andaman — longtail island-hopping from a quiet Koh Yao base.
Giza before the gates open, the Grand Egyptian Museum with a private Egyptologist, then four nights sailing a dahabiya to Aswan.
The travel industry has a long tradition of quoting a headline number and adding to it later. We'd rather agree the whole thing with you up front, in writing.
Economy as standard on every journey shown. Premium economy and business quoted on request — usually less of a jump than you'd expect. Porto departures on request.
Hand-picked, and inspected by us or a consultant we trust. Never a category we haven't personally verified.
Airport to hotel, hotel to port, and every internal leg. You should never be standing somewhere wondering who's coming.
Daily breakfast at minimum. Where a package says half board or full board, that's what lands on the table.
A direct line to a consultant — not an offshore call centre — for the entire duration of the trip.
Already inside the quote you receive. There is no separate service charge appearing at the end.
Equally important, and equally worth saying out loud:
If you take one of the journeys above, this is already included. These tiers are for custom work — always quoted before we start, never after.
For confident travellers who want the bookings handled and the fare done right.
Quoted in writing before any work begins. Credited back if you book a listed package.
Our standard. A designed trip, start to finish, with one consultant owning the whole file.
Quoted in writing before any work begins. Credited back if you book a listed package.
Unlimited design time for milestone trips — honeymoons, sabbaticals, the once-in-a-decade one.
Quoted in writing before any work begins. Credited back if you book a listed package.
Corporate and group clients are quoted separately under a managed programme — usually on a per-transaction or annual basis rather than per booking. See corporate travel.
This is what a Meridian itinerary document actually looks like — before the flight numbers, transfer times and villa number get added to yours.
Evening departure from Lisbon with Emirates. We hold you a pair of seats in the quiet zone rather than whatever the algorithm assigns.
Land at Velana, met airside, and into the seaplane lounge. The transfer itself is the best thirty minutes of the trip — request the seat behind the pilot.
House reef straight off your ladder. We deliberately leave these days empty — the most common feedback we get is that people wish they'd planned less.
Morning dhoni out to the cleaning station, then a private table on a sandbank that exists only at low tide. Booked before you arrive, not at the concierge desk.
One long dinner at the underwater restaurant, included. Otherwise: the deck, the ladder, the reef, repeat.
Late seaplane so you keep the morning. Home the following afternoon, and we're watching the schedule the whole way.
Yes — we charge a transparent professional fee, quoted before any work begins. It covers consultation, itinerary design, bookings, documentation and the after-hours support line for the entire duration of your trip. Package holidays quoted on this site already include it. We think you should know what you're paying for advice, rather than have it buried in a margin.
Meridian AeroPath Travels is registered with Turismo de Portugal under RNAVT 0000, and holds IATA accreditation for airfare issuance. As a licensed Portuguese agency we contribute to the Fundo de Garantia de Viagens e Turismo, the state guarantee fund that reimburses travellers if an agency fails, and we carry the liability insurance required by Decreto-Lei n.º 17/2018. Package holidays booked with us are covered by the EU Package Travel Directive, which means insolvency protection and repatriation are guaranteed by law rather than by our promise. Our NIF is 000 000 000. We're happy to send the insurance certificate on request.
You call the 24/7 emergency line printed on your itinerary and a consultant — not a call centre — starts working the problem. Because we hold your booking directly with the airline, we can usually rebook you before the queue at the service desk has finished forming. This is the single thing clients tell us they value most.
Almost always, and we'd prefer you told us the real number at the start. A budget isn't a constraint on the design, it's an input to it. If what you want genuinely cannot be done for what you'd like to spend, we'll say so in the first conversation rather than the fifth.
Flights only is completely fine, and a lot of our work. We have access to negotiated and consolidator fares that are not published on comparison sites, particularly in business and premium economy, and on complex multi-city routings where the online engines simply give up.
For long-haul peak season — Japan in cherry blossom, the Maldives at Christmas, Brazil over Carnaval — eight to eleven months. August anywhere in the Mediterranean is its own problem and wants the same lead time. For everything else, four to six months is the sweet spot. That said, we place last-minute travel every week; call us and we'll tell you honestly what's still achievable.
Yes, and we recommend it for anything complex. Our office is at Av. Monsenhor Mendes do Carmo 43, 6300-586 Guarda — a few minutes' walk from the Sé and the old town, with street parking outside. Consultations are by appointment so you get a full hour with the consultant who'll actually run your file. If Guarda is a drive for you, we do the same conversation over video and it works just as well.
Both. Groups of 10 or more unlock dedicated group airfare with deposit-only holds and later name deadlines — which is how we handle most of the parish, school and association travel that comes out of the district. Corporate clients get a named account manager, policy controls, consolidated IVA-compliant invoicing and duty-of-care tracking. Ask for our corporate capability statement.
Every package on this page started life as somebody's custom itinerary. Tell us what you actually want and we'll build it — same honest pricing, same consultant, start to finish.
